It is my belief that people need to be heard, can find and articulate their truth, and discover their own path to health. With compassion, empathy, and time—time to tell their story, a person can feel appreciated, heal, and change. In my counseling practice, I have worked hard to include spirituality, creativity, and the ability to accompany someone on their journey—so that our brief connections can have impact through the week, and throughout life. I value family input and involvement, social supports, and evidence-based methods, but more so I value my client’s individual personal journey.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. I grew up in St. Louis, and have lived around the country—in cities and small towns. I have a Master of Divinity from St. Thomas Theological University in Denver, and a Master of Science in Education and Counselor Services from Fordham University from New York City. I have been working as a Counselor in Private Practice and various clinical settings such as Medical Centers, Clinics, Intensive Outpatient, and Residential Substance Abuse Counseling since 1999.

My passion is working with individuals and couples, and my specialty areas are addiction, adjustment and meaning, sexuality issues, trauma, and grief. However, I also love Group Counseling, public speaking and education related to psychology and counseling. I am currently accepting new clients, offering an adjusted fee based upon income, and am working with insurance companies to better serve clients.
