Leia K. Stein has been working with children and adults (ages 10 and up) in a variety of environments both within a school and a community based center. I have a background in education and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I empower individuals to improve their life circumstances using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions. My therapeutic approach utilizes an eclectic counseling style with a focus on person centered, CBT, solution focused & Gestalt tailoring the approach for each individual. I have experience working with the following: anxiety, depression, family relational problems, abuse, grief, bipolar, ADHD, self- esteem & trauma. I am committed to assisting each individual work through struggles by building on existing strengths. The therapeutic relationship is a key to the therapy process, in providing a safe, comfortable and compassionate space for clients.
